Materials Management PRN

Job Title This position monitors, issues, receives, delivers, and stocks Central Services inventory items as directed to ensure that customers are never out of items needed for patient care. This position requires skills in working with computers in order to enter materials management information. Must be decisive, detail minded, have a strong mathematical skills, and excellent communication skills. Must also be able to problem-solve and work independently to assist customers. Position Requirements Minimum Education: NoneMinimum Work Experience: Experience and skills equal with acquiring a high school diploma.Required Licenses/Certifications: Professional certification is preferred but not required.Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: NonePreferred Qualification: Professional certification. Associates Degree plus two years purchasing experience. Job Specific Functions 1. Demonstrates an understanding of and adherence to the HMHD Compliance Plan.2. Conduct reflects HMHD's values and a commitment to HMHD's Code of Conduct.3. Attends the required corporate integrity and compliance training and education programs.4. Demonstrates proficiency in understanding the materials presented during the corporate integrity and compliance training and education program.5. Complies with all HIPAA standards.6. Counts and maintains floor and charge stock inventory management areas within employees responsibility.7. Accurately checks and fills floor stock.8. Issues, fills and delivers requisitioned supplies to departments within the employees responsibility.9. Maintains accurate par levels at areas of responsibility.10. Communicates areas of need in relation to supplies.11. Performs cycle counts in stock locations as required.12. Performs all duties assigned by the Director of Materials Management.
