As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and help maintain an orderly environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.60 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed04:00 PM - 12:30 AMThur04:00 PM - 12:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Monitor and control access at entry and exit points by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor activity, and directing authorized personnel, vehicles, and deliveries according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as directed. Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution location, including entrances, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter, while reporting unusual conditions or policy violations. Maintain accurate logs and complete required reports related to visitor access, vehicle activity, patrols, incidents, and other security-related duties. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
