Medical Surgical/Telemetry Nurse

Provide specialized medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care to patients in a hospital setting during night shifts. Ensure patient safety, monitor clinical conditions, and deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with hospital protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor ECG rhythms and respond to abnormal findings promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
• Maintain compliance with facility, state, and federal healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

• Hold a permanent Ohio license or compact license valid at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication practices.
• Provide at least one professional reference from a supervisor or management within the past 12 months.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be current at the time of application.
• Successfully pass ECG recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
