Wound Care Technician

Shift Type (Clinical Positions): Day Shift Summary WOUND CARE TECHNICIAN – Full time A wound care technician supports doctors and nurses by cleaning wounds, changing dressings, and tracking patient healing under the direct guidance of licensed nurses or physicians. Key responsibilities: Wound Care : Clean wounds and apply prescribed dressings or bandages. Patient Monitoring : Record vital signs, take wound photos, and collect cultures. Documentation : Log healing progress and treatment notes in electronic medical records. Assistance: Turning, prepping , educating patients in conjunction with the primary Wound Care Nurse Education : High school diploma or GED equivalent. Certifications : CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant), MA (Medical Assistant), or EMT, plus CPR.
