Licensed Practical Nurse Position

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide medical case management services to clients with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new client intakes
• Participate in accurate and detailed management of all client medications
• Participate in medication administration as needed
• Ensure effective documentation of all medication administration in assigned timeframe
• Communicate with and update client's parent/family, if applicable, on any medical concerns
• Provide medication administration support to direct care staff and ensure that proper medical documentation and quality control occurs
• Provide medical check-ins with clients and be the primary medical care provider while on base
• Participate in a rotating on call schedule
• Be available for medical consultation/expertise for all base/field scenarios when on call
• Support campus RN as required
• Collaborate with campus RN to keep client charts up to date

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing
• Current North Carolina state licensure as an LPN
• Experience in Substance Abuse/Mental Health

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
