Field Representative I, Technical Documents Position Profile: 3rd shift (11:00 pm–7:30 am). This role is for a 3rd Shift Digital Print Operator in a production environment requiring experience with large digital cut sheet printers and overnight operations. Job Duties And Responsibilities Prepare, inspect, compile, and assemble projects accurately and on time to achieve customer satisfaction. Meet deadlines by working at a quick and steady pace while maintaining quality/error‑free work. Achieve time‑productive statistics by meeting standards established by the facility. Meet company production standards by maintaining the Impressions Per Hour (IPH) rate according to branch standards. Maximize print performance by performing at least two functions on print equipment simultaneously when workflow permits. Maintain optimal machine performance by correcting simple problems (clearing jams, refilling toner, replacing oil, etc.) and reporting equipment failures. Complete all paperwork accurately and legibly in English. Troubleshoot problems and communicate effectively and promptly to manager. Establish standard procedures for delivering completed jobs to clients promptly, safely, and according to instructions. Prevent assembly errors by maintaining an organized workstation and following the 10 Job Steps for Final Check. Maintain an accurate Job Log by recording each job at Check In and Invoicing. Assist the Production Manager in scheduling overnight work by helping complete an overnight plan. Education, Experience And Certifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least 6 months of experience with large digital cut sheet printers. Ability to work independently during overnight hours. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Basic mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills. Experience with finishing equipment (cutters, folders, binders) is a plus. Prior work experience in a graphics environment is necessary. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Work effectively in a team environment with co‑workers, management, sales, and production departments. Adapt to changing situations and remain flexible. Perform repetitive work while continuously executing tasks according to set procedures, sequence, or pace, maintaining quality and output standards. Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Demands Work 8–12 hour shifts including nights, weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed. Adapt to moderate to high noise levels in a production facility. Coping with stress for extended periods. Stand on feet for at least eight (8) hours per day. Move supplies up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist height at intervals up to 10 feet, then lower back.
