Workplace Experience Coordinator - Chicago, IL

About the Role A CBRE Workplace Experience Coordinator will deliver a world-class customer service experience to employees and guests of a designated building. This role is part of the Workplace Experience function and focuses on providing exceptional hospitality to the workforce and visitors. What You’ll Do Act as the first point of contact for all building entrants, greeting them with a friendly and welcoming demeanor, issuing visitor and parking passes, and following security protocols. Answer the telephone professionally and create presentations or speak to various‑sized groups as needed. Arrange and confirm recreational, dining, and business activities on behalf of requestors. Manage janitorial or maintenance work orders, coordinate workplace services including mail, office supplies, and onboarding. Respond to inquiries or complaints from employees, guests, and co‑workers with professional customer‑service solutions. Organize and manage on‑site events, including securing event space, setting up and tearing down rooms, and delivering supplies. Follow property‑specific security and emergency procedures, notifying appropriate parties to ensure safety. Coordinate with vendors who supply services or goods to the workplace. Explain detailed or complicated information to the team and follow specific directions from the manager. Carry out duties described in detail, using existing procedures to solve straightforward problems with limited discretion. What you’ll need Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required. A minimum of 3‑4 years of front‑desk, concierge, customer‑service, or hospitality experience. Open and flexible work schedules. Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions and memos, ask clarifying questions, and present information to an internal department or large groups. Comfortable engaging with new people, assessing circumstances, empathizing, and offering help. High level of attention to detail and strong verbal and written skills. Physical ability to walk or move through the workplace, stand for extended periods, reach, bend, stoop, push or pull, and lift up to 40 lbs. Working knowledge of Google Docs and Slack; experience with Jira is useful but not required. Compensation: The minimum annual salary is $47,000 and the maximum is $52,000, depending on education, training, and experience.
