Machine Repair TechnicianAs a Machine Technician you will perform work within a union environment as dispatched to maintain equipment, systems, and processes to support manufacturing production.Required Skills and EducationThree to five years of past manufacturing experience preferably in an automotive supplier companyAbility to check for backlash in a ball screw by using an indicator, also the removal & proper bearing set up and installation of ball screw assembly.Realign turret heads, spindles, chucks, etc. using indicators.Spindle removal, rebuild, replace.Ability to read blueprints (bearing stack up, hydraulic systems)Hydraulic Cylinder and Pump removal, rebuild, replaceHydraulic System troubleshootingMobile Crane License and RiggingAbility to work well with others and in teams.Perform other duties as required.Position Requirements:Possess a certified journeyperson's card (or similar contractual Journeyperson status) or document a minimum of eight years of experience in specific trade from previous employers on company letterhead.Available to work overtime and flexible schedule as required within union facility agreement.Available to work any shift as required.Ability to pass pre-employment physical including drug testing.Ability to pass pre-employment background check.Dauch Corporation is a premier Driveline and Metal Forming supplier serving the global automotive industry with a powertrain-agnostic product portfolio that supports electric, hybrid, and internal combustion vehicles.
