2 years + experience needed. No fist time travelers. Cardiac Cath Lab (diagnostic & interventional procedures)- Typical procedures (per unit skills list): left/right heart cath, diagnostic/interventional catheterizations, pulmonary artery (Swan-Ganz) monitoring, procedural sedation, dysrhythmia interpretation, circulating for procedures- Patient ratios: not specified- Daily census / bed count: not specified Scheduling & Floating- Call: One weekend plus 4–6 call days in a 6-week schedule- Weekend coverage: included in call requirements- Floating: Within facility / within scope of practice as needed- RTO (request time off) policy: Maximum 7 days per contract- Holiday coverage expectation: - If 1 major holiday falls in assignment: traveler expected to work it - If 2 major holidays: expected to work both - If 3 major holidays: expected to work two of them - Major holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day Certifications & Skills- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS- Key clinical skills (summary): - Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization - Left/right heart catheterizations and catheter-based monitoring (PA/Swan-Ganz) - Procedural sedation monitoring and administration - Dysrhythmia interpretation and management - Circulating for procedures Charting & Scrubs- Charting system: Epic.
