Job Description

Providence Medical Associates is seeking an Urgent Care physician to join their team in Torrance, California. Work closely with a cohesive and supportive group that focuses on providing excellent care to patients. The team will mentor and support new physicians. Enjoy making a difference in healthcare while working in beautiful Torrance and three other sites: San Pedro, Carson and Manhattan Beach.

• Full-time position

• Will cover Torrance and three additional sites: San Pedro, Manhattan Beach and Carson
• Experience in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care required
• Has to be comfortable seeing pediatric patients
• Mix of 11- and 8-hour shifts
• 14 to 15 shifts per month
• 2 to 3 weekend shifts per month

• 200 provider multi-specialty group

• Providence Medical Associates is affiliated with Providence Medical Institute, which is a qualifying employer for Public Service Loan Forgiveness
• Compensation is between $145 and $150 per hour

Where Youll Work

Providence Medical Associates is a 200-provider multispecialty medical group in Los Angeles serving communities in the greater South Bay, mid-Los Angeles, and San Fernando Valley. PMA provides the full spectrum of integrated care with a strong base of adult primary care physicians, pediatricians and OBGYNs, a broad range of adult specialties, four urgent care centers, a hospitalist team, post-acute ambulatory and SNF care, and pharmacist and behavioral health support.
