Food Operations Manager (Healthcare)

Role Overview Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager (Healthcare) to support a New York City Health + Hospitals acute care facility in New York City. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands‑on, service‑driven leader to support a 24/7, 365‑day healthcare food operation serving approximately 1,200 meals daily across three meal periods. Reporting to the General Manager, this highly visible role plays a key part in supporting daily operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving team performance, and delivering an exceptional patient and customer experience. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in a fast‑paced healthcare environment and enjoys balancing operations, compliance, labor management, and client partnership. What You'll Do Support the General Manager in oversight of daily food service operations in a complex acute care setting Help lead a 24/7 operation serving approximately 1,200 meals daily Support labor management, staffing, scheduling, payroll, and new hire processes Manage operational priorities while helping achieve company and client financial targets Monitor labor costs, cash controls, productivity, and operational performance Support achievement of high‑quality patient and customer satisfaction outcomes Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and contract standards Support audit readiness and successful performance on regular inspections and surveys Foster a positive work environment focused on employee engagement and accountability Build strong client relationships and serve as a trusted operational partner Help ensure Sodexo standards are met or exceeded across all aspects of service delivery What We Offer Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate’s education level or years of relevant experience.
