Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Perform sterile vaginal exams as part of routine Labor and Delivery patient assessment
• Circulate in the Labor and Delivery OR as required by unit needs
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using electronic health record systems

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered California RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Ability to circulate in Labor and Delivery OR procedures
• Ability to perform sterile vaginal exams

Preferred Experience / Skills

• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification preferred
• Experience in large acute care hospital settings strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system
