Data EngineerDefense Acquisition Support Services (DAS) is seeking a motivated Data Engineer to support complex analytics initiatives for government clients. This role will develop business intelligence solutions, build impactful dashboards and reports, manage client relationships, and deliver data-driven insights that support mission success across a growing analytics portfolio.Required QualificationsActive Secret Security Clearance (Required)2–4 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related fieldAdvanced experience with Microsoft Power BI, including:Data modeling (star schema, relationships, cardinality)Dashboard and report developmentDAX measures and calculationsPower Query and DataflowsExperience with Power AutomateProficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint, Teams, and ExcelDesired SkillsStrong presentation skills with experience briefing executive leadershipAbility to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiencesRequirements gathering and stakeholder engagement experienceStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independentlyExperience using AI tools to improve productivity, solve technical challenges, and learn new technologiesPreferred QualificationsExperience with Palantir Foundry (Ontology and application development)Experience with Microsoft Power AppsExperience supporting multiple business functions or cross-functional teamsDefense Acquisition Support Services is a Women Owned Small Business focused on hiring the very best people in Defense Contracting.
