Job Description

Team1Medical is seeking an experienced Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesia providers in an ambulatory surgery center. In this role, you will prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment, assist during procedures, and ensure operating rooms have the supplies needed for safe, efficient patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, check, stock, and maintain anesthesia machines, carts, supplies, and patient monitoring equipment.
• Assist anesthesia providers during intubation and extubation and support patient positioning under the supervision of a licensed anesthesia provider or registered nurse.
• Review surgical schedules to anticipate equipment and supply needs for upcoming procedures.
• Transport and set up equipment, including airway supplies, monitors, cables, and oxygen tanks and tubing.
• Clean and decontaminate equipment, use aseptic technique, and assist with operating room turnovers between cases.
• Communicate with the surgical team and respond to requests to help procedures run smoothly.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of recent experience in a hospital or ambulatory surgery center setting .
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire .
• Knowledge of anesthesia equipment, supplies, and patient monitoring systems.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English and work collaboratively with patients, families, providers, and staff.

Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth
