A long-standing, mission-driven nonprofit Community Mental Health Center with nearly 50 years of service is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for a full-time LOCUMS assignment. This role offers 100% telepsych flexibility , strong clinical support, and the ability to serve a diverse, underserved population.

• Setting: Outpatient Community Mental Health

• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week

• Hours of Operation:

  • Mon Thurs: 8:00a 7:00p

  • Fri: 8:00a 5:00p

  • Sat: 9:00a 1:00p (optional)

• Flexibility: Build your own schedule within operating hours

• Start: ASAP upon credentialing

• Location: Upstate NY (remote, onsite, or hybrid)

• Population: Lifespan

  • 60% adults

  • 40% children & adolescents

• Services:

  • Medication management

  • Psychiatric evaluations

• Volume:

  • 2 5 initial evaluations/week

  • Majority follow-up visits

• Support:

  • Extensive intake team handling pre-screening and case preparation

  • Dedicated collaboration time with psychiatrists and fellow providers

• Onboarding: Structured ramp-up with reduced caseload

• Independent Contractor (1099)

• No call, no weekends required (unless optional Saturday hours desired)

• Active New York PMHNP license

• Experience with telepsychiatry preferred
