As a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting an educational government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This primarily driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.92 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM Sat 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM Sun 03:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at an educational campus. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and report unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency responders when needed. Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, and security-related observations. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
