Procurement Buyer II

As a Sr Procurement Buyer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing and executing the organization's procurement and purchasing activities at a strategic level. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient procurement processes, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment within the procurement function.

You will report directly to our and you’ll work out of our Aguadilla, Puerto Rico or Clearwater, Florida location on a work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the optimization of procurement practices, enhance profitability, and secure a reliable and agile supply chain, making your expertise an indispensable asset to our organization's success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and execute procurement activities ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and supplier diversity.

• Oversee supplier selection, negotiations, contract management, and delivery to meet project goals within scope, budget, and timeline.

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct due diligence, and negotiate terms to secure high-quality purchases.

• Monitor and control procurement costs, seek cost-saving opportunities, and optimize resource allocation.

• Foster and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure a reliable supply chain.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies while maintaining accurate records

YOU MUST HAVE

• 3 of years’ of experience in procurement and project management.

• Proven track record of successfully managing complex procurement projects.

• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

• Proficiency in budget management and financial acumen.

• In-depth knowledge of procurement strategies, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management.

• Ability to read, write and speak Spanish
