As a Senior Economist within PNC's Asset & Liability Management organization, you will be based in New York City, NY. The Senior Economist will play a central role in developing the firm's economic outlook and research publications. This is a research position focused on rigorous economic analysis, clear communication, and thought leadership on the U.S. and regional economy. Key Responsibilities: Contribute to the firm's monthly U.S. and regional economic forecast, providing analytical insight and commentary on key macroeconomic trends. Produce and co-author weekly economic updates, summarizing recent data releases, policy developments, and financial market movements. Conduct in-depth research projects on topics such as inflation, labor markets, monetary policy, and sectoral trends, supporting client-facing publications and internal strategy discussions. Develop written materials and presentations that communicate economic insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Collaborate across the economics team and with business partners, helping shape the firm's economic narrative and strategic outlook.
