Job Title: Physical Therapist
Location: Georgia (Multiple locations)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift
Hours: 36 hours guaranteed/week, with expectation of working up to 40 hours/week

Pay: $50.00 - $53.00 Per Hour

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week contract assignment in an outpatient orthopedic setting in Georgia. The ideal candidate will have prior outpatient physical therapy experience and be comfortable managing a high-volume patient caseload.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide physical therapy interventions based on patient-specific needs and diagnoses.
• Treat outpatient orthopedic patients and monitor their progress throughout the course of care.
• Perform therapeutic exercises, functional training, manual therapy, and other appropriate PT interventions.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge information accurately.
• Modify treatment plans based on patient progress and clinical findings.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and appropriate self-management techniques.
• Maintain productivity expectations while providing safe and effective patient care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to support patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT)
• Previous professional PT experience required
• Outpatient experience preferred
• Strong orthopedic rehabilitation experience preferred
• Must be comfortable working in a high-volume outpatient environment

Productivity & Work Expectations

• 36 hours guaranteed per week
• Expected to work up to 40 hours/week
• Productivity expectation: 60 visits per week
• Expected daily volume: 12–14 patients/day
• Double-booking of follow-up visits is expected
• Any overtime must be approved by the Director before OT hours are worked

• Patient population: Outpatient Orthopedics
• No floating to other clinics
• No travel-team option at this clinic or neighboring clinics
• Contract has a defined end date
