Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Operating Room Technician Duration: 26 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Active license must be in hand at submission Certifications: BLS required, NCCT or NBSTSA accepted Must-Have: - Flexible scheduling and strong adherence to attendance policies. - Experience with DaVinci XI Robotics is required. - Experience in Robotics and Orthopedics is essential. Description: Mandatory questionnaire must be completed before submission. Candidate must be aware they are being submitted for this position. Candidate must be flexible with scheduling. There are zero tolerance policies for tardiness and unexcused absences. Barriers such as upcoming vacations must be disclosed. Experience in handling various surgical cases is needed. Patient population includes adolescents to geriatrics, with some pediatrics involved. Experience with pediatric cases is a plus but not required. Previous experience in general, orthopedic, spine, vascular, neuro, and gynecologic surgeries is preferred. Strong aseptic techniques and crisis management skills are necessary. Knowledge of equipment and instruments used in OR settings is essential. EMR experience with Epic is required. Compliance modules must be completed prior to beginning the position. A background check with no open cases is mandatory. Candidate may be floated to other campuses as required.
