Job TitleIn this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways(Job Duties and Responsibilities):Perform infrastructure upgrade tasks for vSphere 8Work with other infrastructure teams and application end-users to perform various infrastructure maintenance tasksAssess situations and perform proactive analytics for change to minimize issues before they evolvePerform various infrastructure expansion tasks as it relates to VMware vSphere, Cisco UCS, and DellConducting high-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis for VMware vSphere, Cisco UCS, and Dell issuesAssist in process reviews and runbook updates along with internal Subject Matter ExpertsIdentifies opportunities for process improvement and automationTo be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following(Qualifications):Strong background in virtualization and hardware troubleshooting, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with internal clients to resolve issuesStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve complex network issuesHigh level of knowledge in configuring and troubleshooting VMware vSphere productsHigh level of knowledge in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco UCSHigh level of knowledge in configuring and troubleshooting Dell hardwareStrong programming and automation skills - PowerShell is preferredVMware VCP-DCV certification is preferredSkills• Managing & troubleshooting vSphere environment• Work with hardware vendors for break-fix remediation• Managing and troubleshooting Cisco UCS and/or Dell hardware• Triaging complex and elevated incidents• Performed root cause analysis for virtualization infrastructure, VM performance, and/or server hardware• Familiar with clustering concepts and/or hyper-converged infrastructureTechnology• VMware vSphere 6.7, 7, 8• Cisco UCS• PowerShell/PowerCLI• ServiceNow• vRealize/Aria OperationsPreferred Certifications• VCP-DCV• Network+• CCNP Data CenterRequired Skills : -Managing & troubleshooting vSphere environment -Work with hardware vendors for break-fix remediation -Managing and troubleshooting Cisco UCS and/or Dell hardware -VMware vSphere 6.7, 7,8 -Cisco UCSBackground Check :YesNotes :Selling points for candidate :Project Verification Info :The information provided below is for Apex Systems AV use only and is not to be distributed publicly, or to any third party.
