Senior Quality Control Engineer

Quality Control Engineer Opportunity - Aerospace, Defense & SATCOM Manufacturing We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Control Engineer opportunity with a leading aerospace and defense organization supporting advanced satellite communications (SATCOM), RF systems, and mission‑critical electronic solutions in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional who enjoys working in a highly technical manufacturing environment and partnering with engineering, production, suppliers, and customers to ensure the highest levels of product quality, reliability, and compliance. The successful candidate will support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality processes across complex aerospace and defense programs. This role will involve driving corrective actions, supporting manufacturing operations, improving supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with aerospace quality standards and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities: Support Quality Management System activities within an AS9100 / aerospace manufacturing environment Lead investigations into product and process issues using structured root cause analysis methodologies Manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and verify effectiveness of implemented solutions Support First Article Inspection (AS9102), inspection planning, and manufacturing readiness activities Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve processes, reduce defects, and increase production efficiency Support supplier quality activities, including supplier performance improvement and issue resolution Review engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and inspection requirements Participate in internal audits, customer audits, and continuous improvement initiatives Ideal Candidate Background: Experience as a Quality Engineer within aerospace, defense, electronics, SATCOM, RF, or advanced manufacturing environments Strong knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality systemsli> Experience with nonconformance management, MRB, RCCA, 8D, and 5 Why problem-solving methods Understanding of First Article Inspection (AS9102), GD&T, inspection processes, and manufacturing documentation Experience supporting suppliers, production teams, and cross-functional engineering groups Preferred Experience: Aerospace, Satellite communications systems or RF/electronic manufacturing PCB assemblies, electronic components, or high-reliability products NADCAP, FAA Part 145, Lean Six Sigma, PFMEA, SPC, or process validation Military and commercial aerospace programs This is a great opportunity to join a team developing and delivering advanced technologies that support aerospace, defense, and global communication missions.
