PreOp Pacu Registered Nurse (Rn)We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PreOp Pacu Registered Nurse (Rn) to join our healthcare team in Orange Park, Fl. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nursing care to patients in the preoperative and post-anesthesia care unit (Pacu) settings, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes throughout the surgical experience.Key responsibilities include:Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in the preoperative area, preparing them for surgery and ensuring all necessary assessments and documentation are completed.Monitoring and caring for patients in the Pacu following anesthesia, assessing vital signs, managing pain, and addressing any complications promptly.Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth transitions between surgical phases.Educating patients and their families regarding preoperative and postoperative care instructions.Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with Asc policies and regulatory standards.Adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards to promote a safe environment for patients and staff.Qualifications include:Current and valid Registered Nurse (Rn) license in the state of Florida.Experience in PreOp and Pacu nursing preferred.Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing principles and patient care standards.Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.Bls and Acs certification required.Ability to start and maintain peripheral IvsIf you are a compassionate nurse with expertise in PreOp and Pacu care and are interested in joining our team in Orange Park, Fl, please submit your resume and cover letter for consideration.
