Job Title: Business Support Consultant – Corporate Affairs / Community Engagement

Location: Providence, RI 02903 (Hybrid/Flexible – 4 Days or Less In Office)

Pay Rate: $32.00/hr W2

Duration: 6 Months

Position Overview

Client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Business Support Consultant to support Corporate Affairs initiatives that strengthen the bank’s business goals, reputation, and community impact. This role provides day-to-day coordination and business support across corporate philanthropy, community engagement, volunteerism, communications, reporting, project coordination, and stakeholder management activities.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while supporting meaningful projects that positively impact colleagues, customers, and communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics, track deliverables, and support Corporate Affairs initiatives to ensure projects remain on schedule.
• Provide day-to-day business support including planning, meeting coordination, reporting, budget tracking, material preparation, and follow-up activities.
• Assist with outreach, logistics, and event execution related to corporate philanthropy, community engagement, and volunteer programs.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to support collaboration and successful project execution.
• Monitor timelines, action items, and emerging priorities while helping organize next steps and project plans.
• Support governance activities, special projects, team events, and strategic initiatives.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and enhance team effectiveness.
• Assist with business process analysis, stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, and change management activities.
• Support reporting, performance measurement, and analysis by preparing reports and providing insights to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Communications, Public Affairs, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience supporting business operations, corporate affairs, communications, community engagement, project coordination, or related functions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams and stakeholder groups.
• Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and follow-through.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Comfortable using technology and social media tools to support business activities.
