Field Installation Technician
PrideStaff is seeking motivated and reliable Field Installation Technicians to support the installation and assembly of mobile communication systems used in equipment across California. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on experience in low voltage systems, AV installation, vehicle electronics, or live event production. Candidates must be comfortable traveling for extended periods and working in field environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and assemble communication equipment in vehicles and mobile units
- Run wiring, cabling, and low-voltage systems according to specifications
- Assist with integration of wireless communication technologies
- Perform system testing and basic troubleshooting
- Travel to job sites across California for multi-day or multi-week assignments
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe work environment
Qualifications
- Experience in low voltage installation, AV setup, vehicle electronics, or similar field
- Background in live events, sound tech, or equipment setup/tear-down is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions, diagrams, and technical layouts
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Requirements
- Willingness to travel throughout California and stay overnight as needed
- Ability to work in various field environments
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift and move equipment as required
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $22.00 - $23.00
