Utilizes Medical Technologist skills and training to perform test of samples of blood, urine and other body fluids to obtain information utilized in diagnosis and evaluation of a patient's medical situations. Performs laboratory tests and procedures, which require the exercise of independent judgment and responsibility with supervision.

What You Will Do In This Role:

• Perform routine, complex or specialized bacteriological, hematological, chemical, immunological, serological and immunoassay procedures on body fluids.
• Communicate effectively with other care providers (physicians, nurses, business office, and medical records) to provide for continuity of patient care and to meet the needs of the customers we serve.
• Demonstrate accuracy for all testing performed.
• Perform related quality control and required proficiency testing according to policy and procedure.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

• Bachelor Degree in a Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science (MT/CLS) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory preferred.
