Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Romeoville, IL offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. Location: Romeoville, IL 60446. Compensation & Schedule Pay: $31.00 per hour, paid weekly Hours per week: 38‑48+ (Friday‑Sunday and every other Thursday) Start time: 6 PM Paid training provided Ryder Drivers are the captains of safety and have full control of routing decisions Route & Equipment Local Home Daily Shuttle Yard Driver Yard truck tractor with 53' dry van and containers Trucks 36‑month new or newer, with 24/7 roadside maintenance; company fuels trucks at 800+ service facilities Benefits Medical, Dental & Vision after 30 days 80 hours PTO in first year, starting Day 1 (use it or get paid) Boot allowance provided 401(k) rollover available and company match after 1 year 12 weeks paid maternity leave (eligibility based on tenure) Employee discounts on tools, vehicles, travel, tech, & more Requirements Minimum 21 years of age Pass Ryder Drug Test Pass Ryder background, motor vehicle check, and drug/alcohol verification for last 3 years Pass DOT physical Pass Ryder road test Valid Class A CDL with required endorsements Class A experience: 9 months within last 3 years, OR 2 years within last 5 years, OR 5 years within last 10 years Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures Responsibilities Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards, maintain accurate records and logs Load/unload freight or assist as required by customer Perform other duties as assigned Ryder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug‑Free workplace.
