Medical Assistant

Company Information:


Our client is a thriving primary care clinic in Cumming, Georgia. They have an immediate need for a temporary Medical Assistant.


Hours

M, W, F- 7:30-4:30


Tues &Thurs- 9:30-6:30


Your Role with the Company:


As a Medical assistant you maybe tasked to provide an assortment of clinical care (vital signs, phlebotomy, EKG, injections, manual BP, etc.) You maybe be required to prep exam rooms with necessary, sterilized instruments. The ideal medical assistant is flexible and able to learn new clinical skills as needed and assist with various administrative task such as charts and updating patient records.


Experience Profile:


Ideal candidates will be able to perform the following tasks and will have a least 1 year of experience.

• Perform manual BPs, injections, taking vitals and prepping patient rooms.
• Ability for prolonged standing and walking.
• Good organizational skills.
• Good clinical customer service skills including treating patients courteously, respectfully and able to deescalate stressful situations.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
