Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality care to pediatric patients in critical condition across multiple units.Shift DetailsSchedule: 3x12 hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PMWeekly Hours: 36 hoursWeekend Requirement: Every other weekendHoliday Rotation: RequiredPatient RatiosThe typical patient-to-nurse ratios will be:1:2 or 1:3 depending on unit needsFloating RequirementsThe Nurse will float within their scope of practice to meet facility needs, which includes providing care in:Cardiovascular Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (CVPICU)Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience requiredNew graduates are welcome to apply if they possess the necessary experienceActive South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State Registered Nurse License requiredCertifications:Basic Life Support (BLS)Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certified by the American Heart Association (AHA)Preferred experience in Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)Schedule AccommodationsBlock scheduling may be accommodated upon manager approval based on unit needs.Travel ConsiderationsTravelers should be aware of the potential need for emergency response assignments during hurricane season, which spans from June to November. Please assess scheduling needs accordingly during this timeframe.Additional InformationAll requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application.
