Senior Pastor

Ebenezer Baptist Church, Jonesboro, LA is located in a rural community near beautiful Caney Lake and Jimmie Davis State Park.  We are seeking a full-time senior pastor for a multigenerational church who is given to strong Biblical preaching and holds to the Baptist Faith and Message.  A man with pastoral experience and higher theological education is preferred.

Ebenezer was established in 1850 and has a history of solid Bible preaching/teaching and mission support.   We are a traditional church with a blended worship service.  The congregation is very supportive with a desire to see Ebenezer continue to grow and flourish. . .to be a testimony to our community of Weston and beyond. 

There has been significant growth in the past couple of years especially in the area of younger couples with children/youth.   The majority of our children are students at Weston High School, our local community PreK – 12th grade school.  Attendance for Sunday School is around 135 and 160 for the worship service.  This includes approximately 35 children for Children’s Church. 

Ministries range from nursery to senior adults.  We employ a full-time worship/family pastor and a part-time youth minister.  EBC is mission minded and supports local, national and international mission projects.
