Schedule: M - F, 11a - 7p

Janitorial Supervisor Job Description:

PrideStaff is currently working with a facilities management solutions company that is in need of a Janitorial Supervisor to join its growing team. The Janitorial Supervisor will oversee a team as they provide service to our clients in a variety of industries. The ideal Janitorial Supervisor has at least 2 years of janitorial or sanitation supervisory experience and is comfortable motivating and training a team. The Janitorial Supervisor position is a full-time, direct-hire position in N. Charleston, SC.

Janitorial Supervisor Job Responsibilities:

• Create Employee Schedules & Schedule Daily Assignments 
• Train Employees on Proper Practices 
• Evaluate & Ensure all Workers are Meeting Work Standards & Rewarding High Performers & Disciplining Underperformers
• Provide Required Reports to Management & Ensure Team is Meeting Quality, Productivity & Safety Standards
• Mentor, Develop & Encourage Workers to Set Goals & Strive for Advancement in the Organization
• Act as the Primary Contact Person for Team Members' Time-Off Requests or Complaints
• Prepare & Maintain Forms Used in Daily Sanitation Activities 
• Other Duties as Assigned  

Janitorial Supervisor Job Requirements & Working Conditions:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required 
• 2+ Years of Janitorial Experience in a Management or Leadership Position Preferred 
• Excellent Multitasking & Organizational Skills 
• Superb Written & Verbal Communication Skills
• Must be Able to Stand, Sit, Squat, Bend, Twist, Walk, & Reach
