Culinary Manager

Tamar

Tamar is a fast-growing fast-casual restaurant in SB's Funk Zone. We're looking for a serious PM kitchen manager who can run a tight dinner operation and help us build something lasting. This is a salaried leadership role — you'll own the PM shift, manage prep levels, write the schedule, and report directly to the Executive Chef.

Responsibilities
-Maintain highest quality standards
-Run the PM kitchen from noon to close
-Prep strategy, organization, and hands-on execution
-Write and manage the full chef schedule
-Train new and existing staff on SOPs and new menu items
-Ordering and waste management — FIFO, portion control
-Primary contact for all shift changes
-Open and close register
-Expedite during service when needed · oversee setup and full breakdown

What We're Looking For
-3+ years kitchen experience, at least 1 year in a lead or management role
-Strong organizational skills and systems mindset
-Can hold a team accountable without burning them out
-Comfortable with ordering, scheduling, and food cost management
