Responsibilities

• Conduct client consultations to explain policy features, benefits, and coverage options clearly and effectively
• Negotiate policy terms and premiums to meet both client needs and company guidelines
• Manage sales administration tasks using CRM systems and other software tools to track leads, quotes, and policy details
• Stay informed about current insurance regulations, industry trends, and product offerings to provide accurate advice
• Assist clients with benefits administration, claims processes, and policy renewals

Skills

• Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing within the insurance industry or related fields
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close sales effectively
• Excellent communication skills—bilingual abilities are a plus—capable of engaging clients across diverse backgrounds
• Customer relationship building expertise with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
• Knowledge of health insurance, life insurance, property casualty insurance, commercial insurance products, and related regulations
