Registered Nurse RN Cardiac Rehab

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in Cardiac Rehab with HCA Healthcare, you will play a key role in helping patients recover and thrive following cardiac events, procedures, and surgeries. Based within our Healthcare & Medical Services department, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care to individuals with cardiovascular conditions. You will assess patients’ cardiovascular status, develop and implement individualized rehab and education plans, monitor clinical responses to exercise and activity, and provide ongoing teaching to support lifestyle changes, risk-factor reduction, and medication adherence. You will regularly interpret vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and clinical indicators, intervening promptly when changes occur and escalating care when needed. In this role, you will coordinate closely with cardiologists, physical therapists, exercise physiologists, and other team members to ensure continuity of care across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will document assessments, progress notes, and care plans accurately in the electronic health record and actively participate in quality and safety initiatives designed to improve patient outcomes in cardiac rehabilitation.
