Fabricator Location: Macon, Georgia Hourly Rate: Up to $30 per hour for Elite Workers (plus overtime) Job Summary We are seeking highly skilled Fabricators to join our manufacturing team in Macon, Georgia. As a Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in the production process, working with precision and expertise to fabricate metal components. Key Responsibilities Metal Fabrication: Perform precision cutting, welding, bending, and shaping of metal materials to create components according to specifications. Machine Operation: Operate various machinery and equipment, such as welders, grinders, saws, and presses, with a focus on safety and quality. Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet strict quality standards and make necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy. Blueprint Reading: Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Material Handling: Safely handle and transport raw materials and finished products using appropriate equipment and techniques. Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment, reporting any issues promptly. Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Teamwork: Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and assist in problem-solving. Qualifications Proven experience as a Fabricator in a manufacturing setting. Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and equipment operation. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. Proficient in welding and other metalworking processes. Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Safety-conscious with a dedication to following safety procedures. Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy materials. Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to meeting production deadlines. Working Conditions Full-time position located in Macon, Georgia. Overtime may be required to meet production demands. Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and machinery. Salary and Career Progression Hourly rate of up to $30 per hour for Elite Workers, with opportunities for overtime to significantly increase earnings.
