Web Content Specialist

Web Content SpecialistWe are looking for a Web Content Specialist to support digital content updates and site maintenance for an organization based in Houston, Texas. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who can manage website content accurately, improve page presentation, and contribute to a user-friendly online experience. The role requires hands-on experience with WordPress, strong attention to detail, and the ability to balance content publishing with UX-focused best practices.Responsibilities:Maintain and update website pages, ensuring content is accurate, current, and aligned with brand standards.Publish, edit, and organize digital content within WordPress and other content management tools.Collaborate with stakeholders to format web content in a way that supports usability and clear communication.Apply UX and UX/UI principles to improve layout, readability, and the overall visitor experience.Create and adjust visual assets using Canva to support web pages and online content initiatives.Monitor site content for consistency, functionality, and proper presentation across web properties.Assist with content organization efforts, including page structure, navigation updates, and content placement decisions.
