Aircraft Survival Flight Equipment Technician I (92831)Provides support of Organizational-level aircraft maintenance support on MH-60R/S series aircraft in accordance with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP), applicable technical data, and federal contract requirements.Junior-level aircraft survival flight equipment technician supporting contract maintenance on MH-60R/S series aircraft at Station SAR Key West.Essential FunctionsPerform complex aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repair, and modificationDocument maintenance actions in aircraft logs and approved maintenance systemsEnsure compliance with Tool Control, FOD, safety, and quality programsDutiesPerform general Aviation Life Support Systems (ALSS) maintenanceScheduled and Unscheduled maintenanceFlight Line Operations/FunctionsSupport Equipment (SE) Operations and InspectionsAircraft MovementCorrosion Control & Spot TreatmentTroubleshootingPreservation and De-preservationOrdnance HandlingTechnical Directive Compliance and ModificationsPerform and inspect airframe, flight control, hydraulic, pneumatic, and landing gear systemsInterpret technical manuals, drawings, and directivesDocument maintenance actions per NAMP requirementsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsPR "A" School or equivalent3+ years ASFE experience3+ years MH-60R/S or similar aircraft maintenance experience preferredMust be able to work day, swing, mid, or weekend shift as requiredFormer CDI preferred, must be CDI within 180 days of startMust meet qualification requirements in accordance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) timelinesTier III clearance requiredPhysical RequirementsMust be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation, including lifting up to 50 lbs., standing and walking for extended periods, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in confined or elevated spaces. Requires sufficient manual dexterity and vision to use tools and inspect aircraft systems. Must be able to work in high-noise environments, wear required PPE, and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.Compensation$48.67/hour + $17.00 H&WBenefits:Employees are offered medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
