As a Security Officer Driver Fleet Readiness in Joliet, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM Tue 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM Sat 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Sun 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of chemical and petrochemical facility buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or hazards. Monitor access control points, verify authorization for personnel and visitors, and maintain accurate visitor and vehicle entry records. Report observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership in accordance with established procedures. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
