Job Summary This position supports the mission of HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge to deliver safe, quality, evidence-based patient care while complying with HCA HealthONE policies and guidelines. The Registered Nurse (RN) must demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills in patient care, providing care that meets the age-appropriate, physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs of each patient. The RN may rotate to other areas as needed and will perform only those duties for which competency has been demonstrated. Responsibilities Provide patient care utilizing the nursing process—assessment, care planning, implementation, and reassessment—per Colorado Nurse Practice Act. Document patient care administered. Promote interdisciplinary communication and care. Demonstrate basic and unit-specific competencies. Align care delivery with the philosophy and overall plan of care for HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge. Qualifications Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado or a multistate license. Nursing diploma from an accredited school of nursing or a BSN (desired). AHA or ARCBCL and/or AHA or ARCACLS certification required for all Float Pool RNs. Additional certifications required based on specialty unit served. Minimum of two years of RN experience in an acute setting. No travel required—floating to units within HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge only.
