Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst to support large-scale legacy-to-web application modernization initiatives . The ideal candidate will have strong experience analyzing legacy systems, gathering business and technical requirements, and collaborating with development teams working in .NET and SQL environments .
This is a highly visible role requiring strong stakeholder communication, modernization strategy experience, and the ability to bridge business and technical teams effectively.
Analyze legacy systems and support modernization initiatives
Gather, document, and manage business/functional/technical requirements
Translate legacy application behavior into modern web-based requirements
Work closely with .NET developers and SQL/database teams
Facilitate stakeholder meetings and consensus building
Perform workflow analysis and identify modernization opportunities
Support project coordination, risk identification, and task tracking
Create clear, complete, and testable documentation
Validate implemented solutions and ensure business alignment
12+ years of experience in:
- Legacy system analysis & modernization
- SDLC for web-based applications
- Requirements elicitation & documentation
- Stakeholder communication & facilitation
- SQL data models & system integrations
- Cross-functional technical/business collaboration
- Gap analysis and solution recommendations
- Project coordination and tracking
- Experience converting legacy systems into modern web applications
- Experience working with .NET development teams and SQL databases
- PM/BA experience preferred
- Government or regulated environment experience preferred
- PMP, PMI-PBA, CBAP, or similar certification preferred
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field preferred
