• Griswold Home Care For Cupertino is seeking compassionate and dependable individuals for the role of In Home Caregiver for Seniors or Disabled in Mountain View, Cupertino, and Los Gatos. This position requires caregivers who can effectively communicate in Mandarin and English while providing respectful and attentive care to elderly or disabled clients in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and companionship to seniors or disabled clients in their homes.
• Assist with daily living activities including grooming, meal preparation, medication reminders, and mobility support.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients and family members to ensure quality care.
• Document care provided and report any significant changes in the client's condition.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of prior caregiving experience (professional or agency-based).
• Active HCA (Home Care Aide) registration in California.
• Proof of a recent negative TB test.
• Able to safely lift and move up to 60 lbs.
• Comfortable communicating in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Can speak fluent Mandarin.
• Driver's license and valid car insurance preferred.

Your Life As A Caregiver

This companionship and care giving position:

• Flexible hours
• Opportunities to assist seniors on both day and night shifts.
• Clients may receive as little as 4 hours to 24-hour care.

As a Caregiver:

Rewarding job of helping seniors live as fully and independently at home.

You competently provide non-medical elderly care and home companionship

Helping with various responsibilities:

• Laundry
• Grocery shopping
• Meal preparation.
• Personal hygiene.
• Bathing and feeding.
• Companionship to clients who have dementia or cognitive impairments.

You:

• Are kind and patient demeanor serves you well as you ensure they receive the highest quality of elderly care.
• Complete documentation for each shift, submitting timely updates.

• You communicate routinely with the office about the condition and needs of your clients.

What We Need From You

• Reliable transportation
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• 2+ years of home care experience would be a plus;
