As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will join a collaborative team to help students reach their fullest potential, traveling between multiple schools and working alongside a dedicated district Physical Therapist.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Active Tennessee PTA license or eligibility to obtain one
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings is a plus, but not required
• Reliable transportation and comfort with traveling among school sites
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Passion for enabling student success and supporting educational teams

What your days will look like:

• Implement and track student treatment plans in coordination with a licensed PT
• Deliver physical therapy services to school-aged children to boost mobility, participation, and independence
• Document student progress adhering to district and program guidelines
• Collaborate with the supervising PT, school staff, IEP teams, and other service providers
• Attend IEP meetings to advocate for and support students needs
• Travel regularly among schools across the district as part of the daily routine
