Pharmacy Technician

To provide advanced technical services regarding the preparation and distribution of drugs and controlled substances; and perform sterile and non-sterile compounding under the direct supervision of a pharmacist; and in accordance with state and federal law.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education

High school or equivalent

Minimum Work Experience

Hospital pharmacy or sterile compounding experience or training

Required Licenses/Certifications

Active license as a Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of Texas

Sterile compounding certification

Required Skills; Knowledge; and Abilities

Designated Driver

OSHA Category

1 - High Risk
