No guarantee of hours. Assignment Duration This is a 15-week contract position. Job Description The Respiratory Therapist will provide continuous airway management, including ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management and support. Responsibilities include physician consulting, CPR, and all aspects of respiratory care. ResponsibilitiesAdminister and manage ventilator support for adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations. Consult with physicians regarding patient care and respiratory therapy interventions. Perform CPR and other emergency procedures as necessary. Utilize computerized charting and medication management systems effectively. Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureMust have a State of Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License. Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred.
