Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Medical-Surgical) – Tennessee

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday rotation required. Self-scheduling options available. No guaranteed block scheduling. Float between assigned medical-surgical units as needed.

Highlights:

• 30-bed medical-surgical unit with 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Comprehensive support staff including 2-3 technicians per shift, charge nurse, clinical coordinator, manager, and director
• Advanced equipment including wound vacs, heparin gtts, IV pumps, telemetry, feeding pumps, bladder scanners, and glucometers
• Editech documentation system
• Strong culture of recognition including Daisy Awards, Bee Awards, and colleague-to-colleague appreciation programs
• Two positions available

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency in IV starts, NG tube placement, wound care, and cardiac rhythm monitoring
• Advanced cardiac rhythm interpretation skills preferred
• Experience with lab draws and IV insertion
• Navy scrubs required (no fleece or sweatshirts)
