The Unconventional, LLC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Yorktown Systems Group, Inc.-Job TitleModern Standard Arabic (MSA) Linguist (CAT III), TU CENTCOM SupportLocationRemote TU Support - Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA 98433 US (Primary)Tampa, FL - Tampa, FL 33602 USJob DescriptionSummary: The Unconventional (TU) is seeking an exceptionally qualified CAT III MSA Interpreter to provide support with foreign language interpretation, transcription, reporting, and translation services.Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:Serve as a Senior MSA Interpreter providing oral interpretation and perform basic to strategic military tactical and administrative clerical work such as drafting correspondence, coordinating meetings, and research as required. Specialized Translator/interpreters will be expected to translate discussions between U.S. and provided/identified partner nations..Serve as the primary representative between the government customer and other Interpreters operating in the field.Shall analyze source conversations necessary to accurately document conversations and activities.Will be expected to follow units during CONUS and OCONUS travel and must be able to conduct field operations.Shall provide interpretation, transcription, and translation services as required by the supported elements.Shall be at the specified sites depending on mission requirements.During off hours, shall remain available for emergency situations.Function as an integral member of a team.Perform such other duties as are customarily performed by other persons in similar such positions, as well as such other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the employer.Job RequirementsRequired Qualifications:Must have experience and skill in MSA and English translating/interpreting, transcribing and documenting conversation.Professional working proficiency in MSA and English.Must have an industry recognized certification that proves you possess the language proficiency in order to satisfactorily support the resulting contract.
