Join our Franklin, KY team crafting high‑performance geosynthetic fabrics for infrastructure, environmental, and civil engineering projects. If you know your way around industrial weaving equipment and enjoy hands-on problem solving, this role is for you.
Compensation & Schedule- Pay: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour
- Shift: Full-Time, 1st Shift
- Work Location: In person (Franklin, KY)
You start your shift by checking Itema rapier looms, confirming setups for the day’s patterns. As production runs, you keep a close eye on fabric quality—pausing machines to correct issues, making quick mechanical fixes, and documenting your adjustments. When it’s time for a new order, you handle the pattern changeover, verify settings, and confirm doff lengths and pattern accuracy before ramping back up. You pitch in on doffing, support maintenance when needed, complete routine preventive maintenance, and wrap up by tidying your area so the floor is clean, organized, and safe.
What you’ll do- Run and oversee Itema rapier weaving looms for consistent, high-quality output.
- Execute pattern changeovers and validate correct machine setup.
- Inspect woven goods, halt equipment to address defects, and resume efficiently.
- Confirm doff (roll) lengths and pattern correctness after each changeover.
- Diagnose mechanical problems and complete minor repairs on the spot.
- Assist with doffing operations and collaborate with maintenance personnel.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on weaving equipment.
- Keep your workstation clean and follow all safety and quality procedures.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Hands-on experience with industrial weaving equipment strongly preferred.
- Background as a weaver, fixer, warper, tie-in operator, or similar in textiles is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude with solid troubleshooting ability.
- Comfort with basic math, measurements, and documentation.
- Ability to work an 8-hour shift and regularly lift up to 20 lbs.
