Opportunity:

Physician - Urology

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break
• Mix of hospital rounds, operating room, and clinic coverage with no nighttime or weekend call
• Coverage needed for 6 weeks each month on an ongoing contract basis
• Minimum of 14 patients per day; new patient visits are 30 minutes maximum and post-op visits are 15 minutes
• Adult patient population only; no pediatrics
• Urology office with newer renovation featuring 9 exam rooms and 3 procedure rooms with long-tenured staff
• Support staff includes 3 medical assistants, 1 LPN, surgical scheduler, 3 front office staff, and a practice manager
• Practice settings include clinic and operating room, with occasional daytime hospital call for consults
• Special procedures include ureteroscopies; general urology skills required
• EMR system is EPIC; prior EPIC experience in a clinic setting is required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology required
• Active PA license or IMLC LOQ in hand required
• DEA required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience required; new graduates will also be considered

This facility is a community hospital with 73 beds, offering a range of inpatient and outpatient services including surgical and urology care. The urology department is well-equipped with a recently renovated office space and a dedicated, experienced support team. The facility provides a collaborative and supportive environment for locum physicians delivering high-quality patient care.
