Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 19:00 - 07:00, rotating weekends. No on-call required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room. This dynamic unit offers a range of patient care activities, where you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment, including both regular emergency services and behavioral health patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room.
• Perform procedures such as splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central lines, and airway support.
• Utilize equipment such as Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, and Stryker stretchers.
• Engage in patient de-escalation and support for behavioral health issues.
• Maintain communication with interdisciplinary teams to provide effective care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS.
• Preferred experience with Meditech, trauma care, and behavioral health.
