Key Responsibilities\nAs a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Auburn Mental and Behavioral Healthcare, your primary responsibilities will include:

- Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments for patients, identifying their mental health needs and developing individualized treatment plans based on best practices in the field. \n
- Delivering a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused techniques tailored to individual client profiles. \n
- Maintaining meticulous clinical documentation that complies with HIPAA and other regulatory standards, ensuring that patient records are kept up to date and accurate. \n
- Collaborating with other interdisciplinary team members to ensure a unified approach to treatment, sharing insights and strategies that enhance patient care. \n
- Conducting regular case consultations and peer reviews, promoting clinical growth through feedback and shared learning experiences. \n
- Providing resources and education to patients and families about mental health concerns, treatment pathways, and community support services available to them. \n
- Staying informed about the latest developments in mental health research, incorporating new methodologies into your practice to improve client outcomes. \n
In this role, you will primarily support clients facing a variety of mental health challenges related to grief, loss, and anxiety that accompany end-of-life care. This population may include patients and their families dealing with terminal illnesses or chronic conditions. Your empathetic approach and expertise will help guide them through emotional distress, ensuring they receive not only the medical care they require but also the psychological support essential for their well-being.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. \n
- A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California. \n
- A minimum of 2 years clinical experience in mental health, specifically providing psychotherapy services. \n
